New York's La Pecora Bianca has officially left New York for the first time — and it picked Coral Gables. The all-day Italian restaurant opened November 2, 2026, at The Shops at Merrick Park, bringing its housemade pastas, Neapolitan-style pizzas, and famously lively rooms to a 300-seat indoor-outdoor space with a palm-shaded garden.
The menu is built around more than ten housemade pastas, plus the signatures New Yorkers queue for: vodka rigatoni, too much fried mozzarella, and tiramisu for two. A few dishes were created just for Miami, including a giant carbonara raviolo and lobster spaghetti fra diavolo, and the bar runs a full Spritz list for the aperitivo hour.
The room itself was designed with Miami firm Urban Robot, drawing on traditional Italian architecture while leaning into South Florida's indoor-outdoor life. It opens with dinner service only, with lunch and brunch to follow — which means the Gables just got its biggest new dinner table of the fall.
