The 27 Club Lands in Wynwood: Machine Gun Kelly’s Coffee Shop Doubles as a Stage

Wynwood has a new coffee shop with a rock-and-roll name and bigger plans than coffee. The 27 Club — musician Machine Gun Kelly's second location for the brand, after the original Cleveland café opened in 2020 — opened in the Wynwood Jungle building in early October, with comedian Pete Davidson leading the ribbon-cutting.

The name nods to the musicians lost at 27 — Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain among them — and the space is designed to be more than a café. Daily service starts at 7 AM with a full kitchen and bar, and an indoor stage is planned for late-night performances, with live music and comedy on the calendar.

It is café culture with a venue attached: come for the coffee, stay for whatever the stage is doing that night.

Know before you go: The 27 Club, 50 NW 24th St, Unit 102, Miami (Wynwood Jungle). Open daily from 7 AM.
